the patch,the patch..oh my brain!

Well it happened yesterday, the patch finally landed and all of Azeroth was thrown into noob chaos! I had been a little like an ostrich burying her head in the sand and not wanting to think about the talent and game changes at all.

well i dont know why but i cant reply back to comments at the moment! anyway a week on tablets kicking in a little, me getting exercise done adn feeling a little more positive now! still fighting tiredness but i am getting better!hurrah!

A tired day

Hmm, well I haven't blogged for a while, that is partly because I have been at work and partly because I didn't really feel I had anything to say!

New Challenges

Well, a week has past and I am feeling slightly more positive, I can't say i am back to being my normal bouncy self, but certainly the treacle crawling is getting a bit more like syrup now.

So I get up this morning for a study day..not exactly the most exciting of ones either..around bullying and harassment..why they haven't sent our manager on this I don't know,but there you go! So, as I said, I got up,very tired and thinking of the lovely lie-in I will get tomorrow before my night duty tomorrow night.

What happens?I ring up because I want to be sure of the time and I find out it is tomorrow! Doh! In my defense,my off-duty does actually say it is today! So not only was I unnecessarily up early today,I have to do the same bloody thing tomorrow!Bah!

Edinburgh Meet!

Hey well firstly apologies for the delayed blog..nights play havoc with my time and so I shall blame that!
Yes, as the heading says, June 18th-20th saw Edinburgh being invaded by a group of  Wow addicts! Oh and for mine and the lads delight, alot of bra wearing women, Hurrah!

The Parent's

Well apologies for not blogging this week much. I do have a reason and that is my mother has been over. She lives in France normally but has been over for the past week. it is great to have her here, but it will be equally great to have my house back too.

A Rare Visitor

Firstly let me apologise for the lack of blogging! but being on nights does tend to make life rather dull.Apart from last night, we were looking after our patients, minding our own business,and others of course,when along strolls this visitor merrily looking round into some of the major cubicles and heading down to our resus room.

bah nights

Well I will apologise now for the lack of blogs over the next week,being a shift worker plays havoc with everything..this included..I certainly felt like a vampire walking out of the hospital this morning. Bear in mind where I work, there are no windows and so don't often get to see what the weather is actually doing. So I walk out into bright light and end up squinting and covering my eyes.

Drag Days

I was reading Hawk's Blog the other day and he was commenting on the fact he has logged less and when online finds himself at a loss as to what to do. Now it is rare I get to that stage aswell, but I too am finding myself not on as much and when I do I am not really on my main char or any level 80 as it seems a monotony of 'do the daily' and that is it..the only thing left for Mort (my lock!) is to grind ICC which I can only do once a week.

too many alts?

do you think we can have too many alts? I have 10 chars on the khadgar realm,4 ar 80's rest are somewhere in between. I have been levelling my mage and paladin recently as well,as i have found that the constant grind of daily randoms boring at moment,its all i seem to do. so to break that up i have been focusing on questing again..i have tried to go to different places as i haven't completed all quests in all areas.

I'm really not hungover!

No seriously im not! I went out last night with a mate of mine round manchester's gay village..saw rather alot of lookey likey dykeys.I did try to chat to some girl who had a nice smile..but then it kinda went downhill from there, it is very hard to talk to people in vanilla as it is small and plays loud music,so you either shout in someone's ear alot,which is rather off putting having spittle dribbling down your neck, or you try to lip read.Anyhow's I wasn't quite sure if the woman with her was her gf so I said is it ok to talk she said yes..so i cant really recall what i said after but it ws something about talking and she said maybe..grrrrrrr...why oh why cant they just be upfront.I just though twell that's a no then lol! So my moment of bravery ended up with a knockback!

well this is such a top show and keith lemon is a genius! not to mention u can look at some rather nice women! holly willoughby (or willaboobby) fern cotton..oh and last night..davina *sigh*...wot a sexy woman..and hilarious last night! it is the penultimate show now and next week is just a recap so i am really going to miss this show..but too much of a good thing and all..but what a great concept..
it seems alot of my shows are influenced by the women in it hehe..

i did it

well i planned to get my mage to level 40 tonight and i did it! hoorah..i love getting to those important levels and finding out wot new spells and abilities u can now do..and for my mage i can now portal! so much easier to get around than flying..
alot of discussion around mages saying as frost it is boring as it is just frostbolt spam..which i guess can be a prob..but i also have a lock and that is more complicated so sometimes it is nice to be able to do something different..i cant wait for cataclysm in some ways as i am hoping crowd control will come back..it was supposed to in wotlk but it didn't really happen..:( i used to feel really useful wen i had to banish a mob it was something different than just focusing on a dps burn..in some ways wotlk killed off alot of wot i liked about wow..but it has also benefited people..

Well hello and welcome to my blog...not suer if I will write a lot or a little in this but I guess you have to start somewhere..
What made me do this? Well it seems that, not only hav ei become addicted to playing WOW (world of Warcraft,for you non-belivers!), I have become fascinated in reading the rants,raves and mutterings of my fellow guildies! So,being a woman,I got curious and decided to see what this was all about.
i must admit not all of this is going to be WOW related,work often gets my goat aswell..hehe!
anyway WOW is now beckoning me..i have been considering going to horde on a diff realm just for a change..it has nothing to do with the fact i have 10 chars already on Khadgar..no not at all
